DEVON & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service has warned parents about the dangers of leaving young children unsupervised with anything flammable in their bedrooms.
It follows a fire in the bedroom of a property in Aspin Road, Wellington, last week.
Two fire engines from Wellington were quickly on the scene but the occupier had already extinguished it before they arrived.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a thermal image camera to ensure the fire was out completely.
The blaze was caused by a young child setting fire to a tent in their bedroom.
