STREET evangelist Lindsay Hamon passed through Wellington on the Exeter to Bristol leg of a one-man walk of witness for Christ carrying a 25kg cross this week.

For the past three decades Lindsay Hamon, a part-time care worker, has been travelling the world with his cedar wood cross sharing the words of Jesus in pubs, club, festivals and schools.

He told the WWN: I regularly visit different parts of the world, carrying the cross and telling people about how much God loves them."
