MEMBERS of the 1st Wellington Thursday Cub Pack have been earning their Fire Safety Badge.

They visited Taunton fire station where they had a tour, looked over an appliance, tried on equipment – and got soaked when they found out how a water curtain contains fire!

They learnt vital fire safety advice and what to do if they ever found themselves in an emergency.

Akela Lee Troake said: “Devon and Somerset firefighters who conducted the tour also earned their Cubs badge and we owe them a big thank you.”
