A Wellington mother and businesswoman has opened an afterschool crafting studio in Fore Street’s Eliza House.

Fern DeFazio established TildaBelle’s Craft Club with a focus on arts and crafts workshops for girls aged six to 12, inspired by her daughters.

She said: “My daughters aren’t very into sports, and I have always struggled to find them an after-school club.

“I have been running my own business for the last ten years, hosting children’s parties and making craft items, and then I came across the studio.”
