WELLINGTON Arts Centre is hosting Zeffe for an evening of Klezmer and Balkan music.

Featuring music from Eastern Europe, the band play traditional tunes from the Balkans, from Greece to Bulgaria and beyond.

It makes you want to laugh, dance and cry; sometimes at the same time, says Louise Lawrence who plays clarinet and flute with the band.

A classic line-up of voice, clarinet, fiddle, accordion and double bass with some flute and darabouka woven will be playing Klezmer Khosidls and Bulgars, Roma Coceks, Bulgarian Horos, and much more.

The band make a welcome return to Wellington on Sunday, October 4 at 7.30 pm for an unforgettable evening.
