WEST Tone Benefice, a community of eight churches across seven parishes around Wellington, will host a day of walking on June 21.

Residents of the parishes and beyond are invited to traverse 13 miles of countryside, stopping at each of the churches for music, tea and cake.

At 9.30am, the party will set off from Rockwell Green, and will then pause for 30 minutes at the following churches:

10.45am — Holy Cross, Sampford Arundel;

12.10pm — St Margaret’s, Thorne St Margaret;

1.30pm — St Peter’s, Greenham;

2.55pm — St Nicholas’, Kittisford;

4.25pm — St Bartholomew’s, Bathealton;

5.40 — St Michael’s, Stawley;

6.20pm — St John the Baptist, Ashbrittle.

Walkers can join for all 13 miles, or just for one or two.
