Wildlife photographer Robin Morrison was up early to capture these Brown hares in Somerset.

He explains “I’ve just returned from an early start watching a few Brown hares in fields of winter wheat or grass on a lovely sunny start to the day.

“The images were taken near Langport just after the sun had risen so there was frost or dew on the ground.”

Earlier Robin snapped feral goats and their kids near Cheddar.

“I was walking along the top of Cheddar Gorge and I came across these feral goats and kids. A delightful sight in the sun but because of the chilly east wind some of the kids were staying close to Mum. These are part of a herd of free-roaming feral goats which keep the scrub in check.”

Proof - if it was needed - that we live in a beautiful part of the world.
