THE Princess Royal Sports Complex at Wellington School is showcasing its facilities and offering activities for all the family at an open day in the new year.

The complex’s facilities include fitness suite, sports hall, dance studio, seminar rooms, sports medicine room, swimming pool and all-weather pitch.

Fun activities such as badminton, penalty shoot-outs, basketball shot challenge, gym tours, fitness class demonstrations, plank challenge, press-up challenge and much more are on offer on Sunday, January 3. Prizes will be awarded to winners of the challenges.

The event runs from 10am to 4pm and anyone who signs up for an induction on the day will get it free – the usual cost is £20.

Manager Mark Vaughan said: “We are a fantastic facility and we offer real value for money. This open day is to try and get the word out there, get more people excited about sport and fitness, and to come down and see what we can offer.”
