FAMILIES attended a shopping event with food tastings and festive music at Rumwell Farm Shop to raise funds for two charities.

The shop, between Wellington and Taunton, hosted its annual Rumwell by Candlelight event in aid of Compass Disability Services and League of Friends Musgrove Park Hospital, its two charities of the year.

Singsational, formerly known as Somerset Hills Chorus, a women’s singing group, performed Christmas carols and other songs. Soloist Torie Meredith and hand bell ringers Joy Bells (pictured) also entertained visitors.
