SCHOOLCHILDREN from the Wellington area are being invited to design a 20th birthday card for a local farm shop.

Rumwell Farm Shop, on the A38 between Wellington and Taunton, has launched the competition for youngsters aged up to 12 years to help it celebrate its birthday.

Shop joint owner Anne Mitchell said: “There will be three age categories – up to five years old, six to eight years old and nine to 12 years old. The winner in each category will win a sweetie hamper and their birthday cards will be displayed in the cafe.”

Entry forms can be picked up from the till area in the shop, in the cafe at or downloaded from its website.

Entries must be hand-drawn and can be dropped into Rumwell Farm Shop or posted to Chris O’Connor, Shop Manager, Rumwell Farm Shop, Rumwell, Taunton, Somerset TA4 1EJ before 5pm on Saturday, April 29.
