New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Daisies at Frogmary Green Farm, West Street, South Petherton, Somerset; rated on October 31

• Rated 5: The George at Church Street, Martock, Somerset; rated on October 31

• Rated 5: The Beech Barn Kitchen at Unit 1 Beech Barn Eaglewood Park, Old A303, Dillington, Ilminster; rated on October 20

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And five ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Chard Conservative Club at 6 High Street, Chard, Somerset; rated on October 29

• Rated 5: The Orchard Inn at High Road, Galhampton, Yeovil; rated on October 22
