New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset West and Taunton’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Ciao Amore, at 4 Eastgate, Taunton, Somerset was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 26.

And Wellington & District Conservative Club, at 19 High Street, Wellington, Somerset was also given a score of four on October 26.

It means that of Somerset West and Taunton's 276 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 210 (76%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
