New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to five of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Creech St Michael Village Hall at The Village Hall, Ryesland Way, Creech St Michael, Taunton; rated on May 16

• Rated 5: Tessa's Teashop at The Olde House, 13 High Street, Dunster, Minehead; rated on May 9

• Rated 5: Little Italy at Jarmans Court 35 Orchard, Paul Street, Taunton, Somerset; rated on May 7

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:

• Rated 5: White Horse Inn at Bradford On Tone, Taunton; rated on May 7
