A SPECIAL 'task and finish group' is to be set up to move forward the campaign to get Wellington railway station re-opened.

Wellington Town Council agreed on Monday to work in co-operation with Taunton Deane Borough Council and Somerset County Council as well as other interested bodies and local people to persuade Network Rail to provide a new station, which has been estimated to cost up to £4 million.
