A WOMAN has appeared in court and admitted attacking a heavily pregnant hairdresser in Wellington town centre earlier this year.
Ellie Hogg, who is also a hairdresser, pleaded guilty to two charges put to her in Taunton Deane Magistrates Court on Thursday (September 4).
She was accused of assault by beating and causing criminal damage to property valued at less than £5,000 on April 29.
The incident in Fore Street saw Chantz Crane, who is in her 30s, suffer a black eye and other injuries.
Ms Crane, who is co-owner of The Shack hairdressers, was six months’ pregnant at the time and has since given birth to a daughter.
The magistrates remanded Hogg on unconditional bail to appear again for sentencing on October 13.
