CHILDREN who attend the two Bouncy Bear Childcare nurseries in Wellington are learning all about the town with the help of a stuffed toy – Bouncy Bear.

They are exploring the area and learning about the community in an ‘All About Wellington’ game of hide-and-seek with the nurseries’ Bouncy Bear.

He is going on an adventure each week to different places in the town and sending the children a postcard with clues and a picture for them to guess where he is. The children, with their carers, can then go along and find him.

Anyone who sees Bouncy Bear around Wellington is asked not to take him home – the children will go and get him. Anyone worried he has not been collected by the children should phone nursery manager Lisa Lee-McKenna on 01823 664644 and she will take him back to nursery.
