THE funeral service takes place at Rosemary Lane Chapel, Clayhidon, on Monday at 11.30am of Kathleen Warren, who died at Dene Barton Community Hospital at the age of 100.

She is said to have kept Millway Chapel in North Street, Wellington, going when it was threatened with closure and on her birthday asked for donations for the Livingstone Trust rather than gifts for herself.

Donations at the service will benefit David Livingstone International and may be given at the service collection or sent to c/o Thomas Brothers, funeral directors, High Street, Wellington. A request has been made for no black clothing at the service.
