VILLAGERS in Langford Budville are extending an invitation to people in the Wellington area to share in the fun in the run-up to Christmas.

The village Christmas tree will be illuminated on Saturday, December 5, at 5.30pm in the grounds of St Peter’s Church. Carols will be sung and a warming drink and festive fare will be on offer.

Winners of a Christmas decoration competition will be asked to turn on the lights and Father Christmas is expected to pay a visit. It is advised to take a torch and wrap up warm. Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm is giving the tree.
