WELLINGTON'S MP Jeremy Browne has introduced a new law in Parliament to crack down on drug driving.
The purpose of the new law is to make it a specific offence to drive under the influence of drugs.
Mr Browne, MP for Taunton Deane and Home Office Minister, said: "It is estimated that drug driving kills 200 people in Britain every year."
He said he hoped the new law would come into effect in 2014.
