NICK Gilding, the new head heacher of Oake, Bradford and Nynehead Primary School, has paid tribute to everyone in the local community who worked to make sure the new school opened as planned.
Speaking this week,he said: "I am extremely proud to be the first head teacher of this wonderful school.
"So many people in the community have worked so hard to ensure that the new school has opened as planned, and the facilities that we now have are exceptional.
"The pupils are delighted with their new school and I am very excited about how we can continue to develop the school, and its place in the community, in the years ahead."
