WIVELISCOMBE based community project Wivey Grows has announced it will be hosting its own radio show.

In partnership with 10Radio the first show will be live on the 30th of October at 11am.

The show will cover live updates of the projects progress at Langley House. Listeners will be given in depth explanations on the vegetable garden, wildlife safaris and the team flowers to gain a better understanding of the projects aims and achievements so far.

In addition to project updates there will be seasonal growing advice for the keen Gardeners in the community in order to help make the most of produce in the kitchen along with a talk by Richard Adams, a wivey grower with an avid love for nature.

The team are also looking for suggestions for future features on the radio.

A spokesperson for the team said: “This is an excellent opportunity for Wivey Grows to showcase its amazing work, it is therefore extremely grateful to 10Radio for providing such a platform. The event is a fantastic reflection of the strength of Wivey’s community which projects such as our thrive upon, please do get involved.”
