A SUNNY day saw a record turnout for Nynehead Court’s National Garden Scheme (NGS) Open Gardens event.

Nynehead Court’s 13 acres of parkland are open to the public and tended by professional gardeners, and the home has taken part in the NGS scheme for many years. This was its second Open Gardens event of 2017 and 125 people attended to see the gardens in full bloom, raising £800 for the NGS.

Home manager Angela Watkins said: “We were absolutely delighted to see so many people enjoying our grounds on what was a lovely summer day. We hope to see everyone again at our next event, which is our craft fair on August 19.”
