STREET lights on Oakfield Park have been without power for the past five weeks, say residents.
The outage follows several power cuts in the Wellington area, the most recent taking place on July 16 when more than 400 homes and businesses lost power.
According to National Grid, issues with Oakfield Park street lighting are unrelated to the recent outages, and the issue has instead been caused by a fault on an underground network.
Repairs are expected to be completed by August 20.
A National Grid Electricity Distribution spokesperson said: "A fault on our underground network is affecting street lights in Oakfield Park.
“We’d like to thank customers for their patience and understanding as our engineers carry out repairs.”
