The nationally recognised Wellington based charity Reminiscence learning has celebrated 'smashing' through their £20,000 fundraising target.

The charity set the ambitious goal to mark the 20 ear anniversary of its formation. The dementia charity are now celebrating after meeting and exceeding the mammoth sum in just six months.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "Following extraordinary efforts from staff, clients, volunteers and wider community support not only have we reached and exceeded our target within the first 6 months of the year.

"We are now aiming even higher with upcoming fundraising events still planned over the second half of the year in collaboration with bands Monopole and Old Skool, as well as Vivary Women’s Golf Club and Taunton-based Accountancy firm Walpole Dunn; both of whom have chosen Reminiscence Learning as their Charity of the Year for 2023.

"The entire Team at Reminiscence Learning would like to say a huge and extremely heartfelt ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone in our wonderful community who has helped us to get to this point with such creative and challenging fundraising endeavours."
