Barbers Manny’s and florist Sharon Davis in Cornhill, Wellington, have thanked the firefighters who removed a fascia board that had come off a building in the area.

Tamsin Fuller, daughter of Manny’s owner Yvonne Bell, messaged firefighter Ben Spalding and within ten minutes he was in Cornhill with fellow fire officer Dave West.

The firefighters (pictured) climbed the ladder and removed the board.
