A SITE which was controversially granted planning permission for dozens of homes outside a village is for sale and expected to fetch about £2million.
Mid Devon District Council’s decision to refuse planning permission for the development just outside Uffculme was overturned on appeal.
It means farming company Messrs Persey and Harding can sell the 8.62 acres of land for the development of up to 60 new homes.
The site is on the south western side of Uffculme, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills.
