WELLINGTON'S main rugby and soccer teams both lost out to the weather over the weekend.

Wellington RFC's home game against Saltash on Saturday was called off despite a last-ditch attempt by the groundstaff to play it, while Wellington's Les Phillips Cup tie at home to Wells City also suffered a similar fate.
