Nynehead Court’s head gardener Justin Cole and his team have created virtual tours of the grounds, so that visitors can enjoy them in their spring splendour while they are closed to the public.

Usually at this time of year Nynehead Court’s grounds would be full of garden enthusiasts. Visitors flock to the home to enjoy its 13 acres of tailored parkland all year, and during National Garden Scheme events they are treated to a garden tour.

Justin and his team wanted to find a way to share the grounds and have created short videos, which will be available on Nynehead Court’s Facebook page. A different section of the garden will be shown each day with Justin highlighting particular trees and plants such as the lilacs in the Pinetum, the Californian Redwood tree and the vegetables growing in the kitchen garden.

Nynehead Court manager Joanne Fenn said: “It is such a shame that we cannot currently welcome visitors, as the grounds are looking wonderful. We hope that Justin’s virtual tours allow everyone to enjoy them until we can open again.”
