FOUR teenagers appeared in Taunton Crown Court on Monday (June 1) on charges relating to the alleged stabbing of a Wellington man three years ago.

The four, who at the time would have been aged 15 and 14 years, were each charged with three counts of wounding a man on Roly Poly Green in May, 2023, three were also charged with affray, and one with possessing a knife.

Their addresses were given as Wellington, Taunton, and Bishops Lydeard, and Judge Richard Shepherd ordered they could not be named because of their ages.

One youth pleaded guilty to possessing a knife, and another pleaded guilty to affray but not guilty on two of the wounding charges, while no other pleas were submitted.

They were bailed to appear again on June 9.
