MEMBERS of Wellington Basins Voluntary Group have met John Dickson, chairman of the Amphibian and Reptile Group, Somerset, to look at the long-term care of the wildlife pond at the Basins.

Over the past year Steve Saunders has been working to restore the pond to a balanced habitat for wildlife to inhabit successfully.

Mr Dickson was able to advise the group on the way ahead with further work to improve the pond.
