POLICE are investigating the sudden death of a man living in a town centre social housing flat in Wellington.
Officers attended a ‘concern for welfare’ call to Jubilee Court, next to the United Reformed Church, in Fore Street, on Monday afternoon (September 1).
They removed a door to one of the nine flats in the building and found a man believed to be aged in his 60s who had died.
A forensics team was then seen to enter the property for investigations.
An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesperson said: “While cause of death is yet to be determined, it is not being treated as suspicious.”
Jubilee Court, which was built in 2003 when the church Sunday school was demolished, is managed by Magna Housing.
