AN historic vehicle show will again be held in Sampford Peverell this summer in aid of a good cause.

It will be the ninth year of the extremely popular event, held at Uplowman village hall for Devon Freewheelers EVS.

The charity (devonfreewheelers.org.uk) is made up of a group of volunteers who transport blood, donor organs and other urgent medical supplies across the county and is funded only by public donations.

Anyone with any kind of vehicle they would like to display is urged to get in touch – there is no age restriction on vehicles.

Anyone who would like a craft/trade stand is also urged to make contact and volunteers are needed to help.

The show is on Sunday, August 21, from 11am-5pm. Craft stalls, a raffle with prizes given by local businesses, an all-day bar, barbecue and light refreshments will be on offer.
