Wellington residents are invited to a cancer research coffee morning hosted by a local firm.

Harrison Financial Services, based in Chelston Business Park, are hosting a McMillan Coffee Morning on Thursday, October 12.

It's an annual event for the firm, with last year's coffee morning raising almost £500 for the cancer charity.

Owner Greg Harrison will be serving up his own homemade key lime pies, and has welcomed local people and their families to join the fundraising event. He said: "Please take the time to pop in to our family friendly offices where you will be greeted with a warm welcome, a smile and of course, a vast choice of delicious homemade cakes. We would love to raise as much money as we can to support this amazing charity that helps so many people and their families."

The business can be found at A4 Monument View, Summerfield Avenue, Chelston. TA21 9ND, with the event taking place from 10 am until 12 noon.
