THE Wellington Majorettes have made an award-winning arrival at a secondary school prom.

Led by two Bishop Fox’s School students, Lily Emmerson and Beth Roberts, the Majorettes arrived at Oake Manor on July 4 with all the bells and whistles, bagging the ‘Best Arrival Award’ for the duo.

A spokesperson for Wellington Majorettes said: “The two girls have been with the team for a few years now and wanted to involve all their friends from the purple family with their prom entrance.

“We did this for a couple of members in 2023 and although the team were very nervous, as it’s not the normal PROM entrance, the welcome they have received from escorting their fellow members into prom has been amazing.”
