NEW data shows property prices in Wellington have raised by 16 per cent, significantly outpacing the national average.

According to UK Property Looker who analysed data from January 2025 to December 2025, the average price for a house in Wellington is £308,000.

A spokesperson for UK Property Looker, said: “Wellington's sales landscape shows that while none of the homes breached the million-pound mark, 36 properties still commanded prices over £750,000. Leading the top end, Frogs Farmhouse in Appley fetched an impressive £990,000.

“On the other side, affordable options do exist. The least expensive property, a one-bedroom flat at Bishops Court, sold for just £47,000. This stark contrast paints a vivid picture of Wellington's diverse market where homes cater to both ends of the spectrum.”
