THE Wiveliscombe Civic and Historical Society is set to host architect Rachel Bell (nee Gadd) this month.

In an event planned for Thursday January 19 Ms Bell will talk about her experience growing up in Wiveliscombe, and her career journey which has led to being the director of one of the UK’s leading architectural firms.

In addition to her directorial duties at Stride Treglown, Rachel has completed her one-year tenure as National Chair for Women in Property, hosts a podcast - Stand Tall with Rachel Bell – and is set to head up a women’s empowerment trip to Malawi in April 2023.

The talk will take place in the Wiveliscombe Community Centre and will begin at 7 30 pm. The entry fee is £3 to the general public and free for members of the Civic and Historical Society.
