THE Mayor and Mayoress of Wellington, Cllr Gary James and his wife Bee, were delighted to visit an exhibition called Nynehead Painters.

The exhibition has been organised by Stable Arts at Nynehead Court near Wellington and runs until June 27.

Cllr James said it was a ‘wonderful exhibition’ of local artists, who under the guidance of Clare Du Vergier, Jane Embleton and Virginia Chesters, have developed a real talent for art in the local area.

“We were delighted to see how much interest was shown and hope that many of public go and enjoy the exhibition,” he recently told members of Wellington Town Council.
