Reigning champions All Blacks put themselves back in the title race with a nine-pin home win over Jolly Blues who slip from second to fifth, but are still very much in the mix. Cynth Phillips was top of the alley for Blacks with 57.

Split Pins beat LOA Spare by 13 pins while Water Babies won by three pins against Wanderers. The leading five teams are now well clear of the field.
