TEN-MAN Wellington went down to a 4-0 away defeat against Nailsea & Tickenham in the Premier Division of the Toolstation League last night (Tues).

Wellington were holding Nailsea to a goalless draw when goalkeeper Shay Allen was given his marching orders in the 39th minute for bringing down Lucas Vowles who went on to score a hat-trick.

Goalless at half-time the home side went ahead in the 68th minute when Vowles headed past stand-in keeper Miles Quick.

Vowles curled in a free-kick to make it 2-0 in the 75th minute and Luke Osgood scored a third right on the 90th minute before Vowles completed his hat-trick two minutes into injury time.

This was Wellington's fourth successive defeat, three coming in the league and one in the FA Cup.
