WELLINGTON Squash Club first team played Wyvern yesterday (Mon) in the first round of the Somerset League’s KO Cup.

The result was a 3-2 win for Wellington. The individual scores were (Wellington names first): Barry Bartram won 3-2 15-9,11-15,11-15, 15-12,15-6. Mike Broom lost 2-3 17-15,7-15,13-15,15-9,8-15. Keith Dancey won 3-2 12-15,11-15,15-11,15-10,15-9. Tom Hendy lost 0-3 11-15,9-15,10-15. Ed Barrett won 3-0 15-4,15-12,15-13.

Next Monday the team are back to league duties in Division Three at home to Wyvern 5.
