THE Open Day at Wellington Bowling Club on Sunday was very successful despite the risk of bad weather which may have prevented some from attending.

Three club coaches were available on the day. Janet Moore, Angela Moore and Richard Whiting were pleased to give the newcomers some coaching and offer their advice and support.

Everyone who came enjoyed chatting to club members and they were pleased to have the opportunity to look around at the many amenities that the club has to offer. Some stayed for coffee and the bar was open for anyone who wanted refreshments.

The club would like to thank all the members who gave their time to help on the day.
