WELLINGTON British Superbike Stock 600 racer Bradley Richman’s wait is almost over, writes Kerry Rawson. The local two-time North Glos 400 champion will get his rookie BSB season under way on August 7-9 at Donington Park for the opening round, now the new abridged BSB season has been announced.

Before then he plans to complete the official support class test day on July 17 at Silverstone in order to be fully up to speed for when the Stock 600 series starts.

In the meantime he has been keeping himself busy and gaining valuable riding time by attending track days and has already been to Cadwell Park, Snetterton and Oulton Park, with further track days planned again at Oulton Park and Snetterton before the season starts.

Bradley, asked about the recent track days, said: “It’s going great, I’m so happy to be back on the bike and actually got back into it much better and quicker than I thought I would. I’m enjoying bedding in my new leathers, boots and gloves too, of course, but I cannot wait to get out and finally get some competitive track time.

“I am a racer and in the end that is what I want to do. But until then I’d like to thank all my sponsors for their patience, understanding and support during this difficult time .”
