WATCHET will be looking to keep up the pressure at the top of the first division in the West Somerset Cricket League when they play at home to Brompton Ralph on Saturday, July 5.
Watchet are now the only side in Division One with an unbeaten record after champions Ashbrittle came unstuck at home to Kilve last weekend. Kilve have a 16-point lead over Watchet who have a game in hand. Brompton are struggling near the bottom of the table and will be hard-pressed to beat Watchet.
Bridgetown, who are lying third, only one point behind Watchet, play at home to Ashbrittle who will be looking to bounce back after the setback against Kilve.
Kilve will be aiming to maintain their place at the top in their away match against Morebath while Over Stowey are home to bottom side Winsford.
Crowcombe, who have a 70-point lead at the top of the second division, play away to fifth-placed Roadwater, while Lydeard St Lawrence, in second spot, entertain Stogumber.
Hemyock, who remain top of Division Three despite their mauling by Minehead 3rd XI, are away to Ashbrittle’s second string while Cutcombe, in second place with a game in hand on Hemyock, are at home to Bishops Lydeard.
In Division Four, Buckland St Mary & Bishopswood will be looking to consolidate their position at the top when they play at home to third-placed Roadwater.
