BUCKLAND St Mary and Bishopswood crashed to 35 all out against Carhampton in the third division of the West Somerset Cricket League.

Matt Long finished with the remarkable figures of 6-12 in his nine-over spell while Amelie Keal took 2-5. Not one batter managed double figures.

Earlier Carhampton, who won the toss, scored 124 all out in 26.2 overs with James Snell top scoring with 55 while opener Sam Price made 21. Ian Every took 3-8, Charith Liyanagamage 3-25 and Tom Stead 2-8.

Ashbrittle Seconds piled up 275-2 in their 87-run win over Stoodleigh with opener Andy Hill 139 not out and Chris Hill scoring 100 from exactly 100 balls.

Stoodleigh were bowled out for 188 with Andy Hill being the Man of the Match with 4-15 while there were wickets for Leon Westcott (2-33) and Jimmy Adams (2-44). Bing Torrance top scored for Stoodleigh with 40.

In Division Four, Stogumber beat Morebath by 100 runs in a top of the table clash. Stogumber, who chose to bat first, scored 257-6 with Heinrich Laage scoring 93 not out and Sam Batten 61.

Morebath were bowled out for 157 despite 60 by opener Andrew Foxford. J Jenkins took 4-30 and Oscar Batten 3-4.

Brompton Ralph topped more than 300 runs in beating Stoke St Mary by 224 runs. Batting first, Brompton hit 313-5 with Daniel Church scoring 116 and opener Simon Ruell 52 while Scott Broadhurst took 2-74.

Stoke slumped to 89 all out with Vraj Patel taking 3-15, Jon Burgess 2-8 and Darren Towells 2-3.
