WELLINGTON 3rd XI's curious month of July continued with their home Somerset League Division Seven South match against Ilminster 4th XI being postponed due to Somerset’s involvement in the T20 Finals Day in Birmingham, writes David Derrick.

The visitors requested to invoke the SCL's offer to postpone any fixture for the reason given if both teams involved agreed. This was the case here and the game will now be played at the Lloyd and Whyte Cricket Ground on Sunday, August 16 (1.30p.m.).

This Saturday sees the team have their week off due to the nine team set up of the division and with this aligning with the same situation for Division Six South team Taunton 3rd XI, a non league game has been arranged to be played at Taunton (1.30p.m.).

The next league action for Tyler Fyfe's charges is against Taunton Deane 5th XI at Castle School in Taunton on Saturday, August 1 (1.30p.m.).
