THE two matches to be played in the West Somerset Cricket League this weekend were both cancelled because of the poor weather conditions.

Minehead were due to play Ashbrittle and Over Stowey should have played at home to Roadwater - both in Division Four.

The league gets fully underway this coming Saturday when Bagborough play Bridgetown in Division One.

Promoted Kilve have a tough opening game against Morebath while Brompton Ralph are home to Winsford. 

League champions Bishops Hull have chosen to play in the Somerset League this summer.
