THE Wellington Ladies Darts League has got underway with Fiona MacDonald hitting the first 180 of the new season.

However, she only required 139 to win her match for Outsiders - luckily the no bust rule allowed her 120 to stand. But it was the only bright spot for Outsiders who slumped to an 8-1 defeat against the early leaders Bubbly Bears.

Shirley, of Curly’s Crew, hit a fine 105 away shot at the Vintage where, in the same match, she was pipped by 112 away by Gill of the newly formed amalgamated Hot Divas.
