AMY Stanton, who began her bowls career at Wellington Bowling Club, has struck gold three times playing for England in the European championships in Israel.

She played ladies pairs with Bex Field from Norfolk and they won gold.

They also played mixed fours with Ashley Caress and Alex Walton and also won won this competition as well.

And she lined up with the English four to finish top of the team event.
