WELLINGTON played their second pre-season friendly on Tuesday, losing away to the Taunton Saturday League champions.

In the first half Wellington had plenty of opportunities but for some superb goalkeeping by the Moat keeper, who kept a clean sheet first half, whilea Welly conceded two sloppy goals. The second half was an even affair, both teams scoring two goals.

Wellington scored through Tom Davies, with a bullet header, and MOTM Rohan Poulsom, who slotted the ball into the bottom corner.

Former Wellington first team player Paolo Borges scored one of Castlemoat’s second half goals, the other being an own goal.
