AS expected, Wellington’s Les Phillips Cup-tie away to Shepton Mallet tonight (Tues) has been called off because of the bad weather.

The pitch is waterlogged after a night of heavy rain, followed by more showers today.

The Tangerines now look ahead to a big day at the club this Saturday when they welcome Jewson League Premier Division leaders Clevedon Town to the Carly Press Ground (kick-off 3pm) - and they are also holding their annual Christmas Jumpers Day.
